Not being able to find your iPhone because it’s been forgotten or stolen can be stressful. However, there is a way to get your hands back even if your device isn’t powered on.
You misplaced your iPhone. Logically, your first instinct is to try to join your own device. Alas, you are duly redirected to the smartphone’s voicemail, a sign that the latter is turned off.
Don’t panic. The good news is that there is an easy way to find out where your Apple smartphone is. This is even if the latter is not active. Apple devices have search functions, but you need to enable them in your settings first.

- Go to your iPhone’s “Settings” menu
- Tap your name
- Select the “Diagnosis” tab
- Click on “Find My iPhone”.
- Turn on the “Find My iPhone”, “Find Network” and “Send Last Location” switches
- Login for you iCloud account
- Tap the “Find” icon in the main menu
- See your iPhone’s last location on a map
