Google also revealed a number of innovations related to Bart, including the addition of additional languages, the availability of new tools, and better integration of Google services.
Google Bard announced ChatGPT and Bing Chat and GPT-4 implicitly. For Google I/O, Google is announcing important improvements to the Bard. Here we are talking about integration of PalM 2 (Pathways Language Model) language model like GPT-4 (OpenAI) or LLaMA (Meta). So Bart benefits from important changes like support for more than 100 languages and the ability to write code.

So Bart has a new multimodal capability that allows it to respond to images and text. Google showed examples of fully describing system images by creating a detailed description that could span several paragraphs.
Then, to make your life easier, it’s now easy to export the results to Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Maps and Gmail. And no tedious copy-paste and redesign, Google Bard can communicate with these two services.
But that’s not all, the Bart chatbot now includes enhanced functionality, such as more accurate code citations and direct export to the Replit platform (which allows users to create and write code for online projects). The icing on the cake: a dark mode to protect the tired eyes of night owls.
Finally, Google promises to deeply integrate Bard with other apps. Adobe Firefly, Kayak, Instagram, Wolfram, and Khan Academy will soon make the trip. With Adobe Firefly, Google looks to merge ChatGPT and Midjourney.
Bart seems to be catching up with ChatGPT and Bing Chat, which already offer visual features. Google relies on its ability to integrate with other Google products to quickly improve Bard.
